Getting Started

Ano ba ang Storia.ph? (What is Storia.ph?)

Storia.ph is a wedding planning platform built specifically for Filipino couples. It helps you organize your budget, timeline, guest list, and team in one place. Think of it as your digital wedding planner that works alongside your coordinator, not instead of them.

Is it free to use?

Yes. The Dream Phase (our style quiz and AI moodboard generator) is completely free, no signup required. You can discover your Wedding DNA and get inspired before committing. Signing up gives you access to the full planning dashboard with budget tracking, guest management, and more.

Do I need to sign up to try it?

Hindi kailangan! (Not needed!) You can take the wedding style quiz and generate your AI moodboard without creating an account. If you like what you see and want to start planning, that's when you sign up.

Can my partner and I plan together?

Absolutely. You can invite your partner during or after the onboarding quiz. Both of you will share the same wedding workspace: same budget, same guest list, same timeline. You can also invite your coordinator or other team members with different access levels.

Is Storia right for our situation (same-sex couple, vow renewal, planning solo)?

Yes to all three.

Planning Features

What is Wedding DNA?

Wedding DNA is your personalized style profile generated from our quiz. It captures your preferred style (rustic, minimalist, classic, etc.), vibe, budget range, and priorities. This helps guide your planning decisions and generates a personalized AI moodboard to visualize your dream wedding.

How does the budget tracker work?

You can add budget categories (catering, venue, attire, etc.) with estimated and contracted amounts. Track payments, send payment confirmations to vendors via email, and export your budget as PDF or CSV. The dashboard shows you real-time spending vs. estimates.

Can I manage my guest list and send RSVPs?

Yes! Add guests individually, track RSVP status (Pending, Confirmed, Declined), manage dietary requirements, assign tables with our seating tool, and send invitation emails. You can also export your guest list as CSV anytime.

Paano yung timeline and tasks? (How does the timeline work?)

Create tasks with due dates, assign them to yourself, your partner, or your coordinator. View tasks in a list, Kanban board, or calendar view. Drag and drop to reorder. Get notifications when tasks are assigned or completed.

AI & Moodboard

How does the AI moodboard work?

After completing the style quiz, our AI generates custom moodboard images based on your Wedding DNA, covering ceremony, reception, florals, attire, and more. The images are conceptual inspiration to help you and your vendors align on your vision. Specific AI sub-processors are disclosed in our Privacy Policy per RA 10173 transparency obligations.

Are the moodboard images real venues or setups?

No. The AI-generated images are conceptual inspiration, not real venues or exact setups. They help you communicate your style preferences to coordinators, stylists, and vendors. Actual results will vary based on your venue, budget, and vendor.

Privacy & Security

Is my data safe?

Yes. We use a managed authentication provider for secure login, and your wedding data is protected so only you and your invited team members can access it. We follow the Philippine Data Privacy Act (RA 10173) and collect only the data necessary for planning. Specific sub-processors are named in our Privacy Policy.

Who can see my wedding details?

Only you and the people you explicitly invite to your wedding workspace. Team members (partner, coordinator, vendors) have role-based access. Vendors only see what's relevant to them, not your full guest list or budget.

Vendors & Team

Does Storia replace my wedding coordinator?

Hindi! (No!) Storia helps everyone work better together. Once you sign up, your coordinator can be invited to your workspace to view and manage the timeline, budget, and vendor communications. We're a tool that supports coordinators, not a replacement.

Can I invite my vendors to the platform?

Yes. You can invite team members with the Vendor, Coordinator, or Guest role, each at Admin, Editor, or View Only access level. Vendors can see the relevant sections you share with them (your moodboard, your budget, your timeline) without seeing anything private. This helps everyone stay aligned without endless Viber or Messenger threads.

Does Storia have a vendor directory I can browse?

No, intentionally. We don't list vendors for you to pick from. Our job is to help you find your own vendors, evaluate them confidently, and then coordinate with them inside Storia once you've chosen. Keeping ourselves out of the listing business is what lets us write honest guides about pricing ranges, hidden fees, and what to watch for. If a vendor you already know uses Storia, you can invite them into your workspace as a team member.

How do I know a supplier is legit, and what should I ask before paying a deposit?

Before you pay any supplier (venue, photo/video, coordinator, caterer, HMUA, host), ask these five: (1) Is there a written contract with the date, full inclusions, total, payment schedule, and cancellation terms? (2) Will you issue an official receipt for every payment? (3) What is your cancellation and refund policy for both sides? (4) What fees are NOT in this quote (overtime, corkage, crew meals, out-of-town, generator, ingress, VAT, parking)? (5) Can I see reviews or talk to recent clients?

Red flags to walk away from: no contract, no official receipt, full payment demanded upfront, pressure to decide fast, or payment to a personal account whose name does not match the registered business.

We stay vendor-neutral: we take no commissions and recommend no suppliers, we just help you vet your own. The full checklist (plus venue-contract clauses) is built into your Budget page, and Hiraya AI can tailor it to a specific supplier or help you read a contract you've been sent.

Pricing & Packages

How much does Storia cost?

The Dream Phase (style quiz + AI moodboard) is completely free. After you sign up, the full planning dashboard (Budget, Timeline, Guest list, Wedding Website, AI Writer, Hiraya AI coordinator, Layon AI chat) is free during our founding phase, with fair-use AI allowances. Paid packages start at ₱4,995 one-time and bundle a physical Curated Kit, Founding rate guarantee on future Storia purchases, 12-month post-wedding window for Founding Members (vs 6 months standard), and higher AI allowances. How do I pay for a package, and is my payment secure?

Booking is still personal and manual for now (an automated card checkout ships after launch). Here is the flow:

  1. Pick a package and start your free Founding Member application (the Wedding DNA quiz). No commitment.
  2. Message us on Messenger or email hello@storia.ph. We confirm your package, any add-ons, and your founding rate in writing first.
  3. We send payment instructions for GCash or bank transfer. The receiving account is in our registered business name, LACAMBRA WEB PORTAL SERVICES (DTI BN 8179942). If anyone ever asks you to send to a different name, stop and message us. Installments are available, just ask. Booking from overseas? Tell us and we will arrange a card payment or international transfer, billed in PHP.
  4. Once we confirm your payment, we activate your account, usually within a few hours, and email your receipt.

What protects you: Storia is a BIR-registered Philippine business (Certificate of Registration issued 9 July 2026, non-VAT). While our Authority to Print is pending, you receive an Acknowledgement Receipt by email at payment, replaced by a BIR Invoice once our ATP is issued (both reference the same transaction). You have a 7-day full-refund cooling-off window (see our Refund Policy). We only ever charge for our own package, never hold your money in escrow, and you pay your vendors directly through their own channels. Billed in Philippine Pesos.

Does one package cover more than one wedding or event?

Each Storia package covers one wedding: one wedding website, one guest list, and one RSVP flow. If you're planning a separate celebration (a despedida, a second reception in another city, or a different couple's wedding), that needs its own package. Planning something multi-event or unusual? Message us at hello@storia.ph and we'll help you figure out the right setup.

Can I upgrade my package later?

Yes. You can move up a tier anytime during your planning window. Because we book manually for now, we credit what you've already paid toward the higher package, so you only pay the difference. Your founding rate is honored on the upgrade. Message us at hello@storia.ph and we'll take care of it.

My budget fits two tiers, which one do I pick?

The budget ranges on each package are a guide, and they overlap on purpose: a wedding's complexity is not only about budget. If you land between two tiers, choose by what you want, not the peso figure. Silver leans guest-focused (bigger list, more AI runway); Gold leans content-rich (a custom monogram on your hero and lasting keepsakes). What happens if our wedding is called off or postponed?

We're sorry, and we'll help. In Settings you can mark your wedding as called off, which hides your public site and pauses edits while keeping all your data safe. For a refund or to move your package to a new date, message us at hello@storia.ph: refund eligibility follows our Refund Policy (including the 7-day cooling-off window), and transfers to a new date are handled case by case. If you and your partner are parting ways, you can also unlink your partner from Settings, which removes their access and clears their name and Wedding DNA from the wedding.

What is a Founding Member?

We're opening packages to a founding cohort of 50 couples, open through the end of July, or until the 50 spots fill, whichever comes first. Creating an account makes you a Founding Candidate. Your cohort position is confirmed only when your paid booking is finalized with our team, not at signup.

Founding Members receive 20% off any package, a full 12-month post-wedding window for memories and exports, a 5-year founding rate on future Storia purchases (for example, the monthly subscription when it launches), and priority for Refer-a-Friend rewards.

We book each couple by hand. Once the founding cohort closes (end of July or 50 couples, whichever comes first), standard pricing applies for new customers, and any founding rate already locked in remains honored.

Can I add features to Bronze without upgrading to Silver?

Yes. Several add-ons can be attached at booking:

If you want two or more add-ons, check the math: Silver is ₱9,995 and already bundles Pinoy Games, a richer Curated Kit, and higher AI allowances (Hiraya AI 60/hr, AI Writer 40/hr, Moodboard 40/hr, Music 10/hr; see the limits FAQ). Sometimes upgrading the tier is the better deal for the physical experience.

Can our guests share photos at the wedding, and how many?

Yes. Every package includes a guest photo wall: your guests scan a QR code at your reception and upload photos (and video clips on Silver and up) to one shared album, with no app to install. Capacity scales with your tier:

Free accounts get a taste: 25 guests, 10 photos each, 2 GB, kept 30 days. You can download the full album anytime before it expires.

Do I need to pay to use the AI moodboard?

No. The Wedding DNA moodboard is free for every couple who takes the quiz. We apply fair-use limits to keep AI quality high and costs manageable for everyone (currently: up to 20 moodboard generations per hour per session). Paid packages don't remove these limits, but they unlock deeper AI features like our Hiraya AI planning chat and higher allowances that scale with your tier.

What are Storia's AI usage limits?

Limits reset on a rolling hour, daily, or monthly window depending on the feature. If you hit a limit and need to keep going, please reach out to support@storia.ph and we'll help.

What happens if I reach an AI usage limit?

If you reach a per-hour or monthly fair-use ceiling on any feature, that feature pauses until the window resets (a rolling hour, day, or month depending on the feature), or you can email support@storia.ph and we will help you on a case-by-case basis. The per-tier rates are in the "AI usage limits" answer above.

What is Storia NOT?

We are honest about what we do and what we don't. Storia is a planning tool for Filipino couples. We are not these things, and we won't pretend to be:

What we are: a calm, cohort-aware planning surface that helps you figure out the wedding you actually want, set a realistic Philippine budget for it, and avoid the most common Filipino-wedding traps before they cost you. Is Storia for LGBTQ+ couples?

The planning tools are designed to be inclusive in the parts that matter for planning. The Wedding DNA quiz, budget breakdown, Hiraya AI planning chat, and team workspace work for any couple regardless of gender or relationship structure. The AI moodboard generates style-aspirational scene imagery (palette, mood, decor) rather than couple portraits, so it works regardless of couple composition.

Three honest structural gaps to know about, specific to the Philippine context:

(1) The Philippines does not currently recognize same-sex civil marriages. Article 1 of the Philippine Family Code (Executive Order No. 209, 1987) defines marriage as a special contract of permanent union between a man and a woman. Holy Union ceremonies performed by some religious organizations, such as the Iglesia Filipina Independiente, MCC Open Table, and a small number of progressive non-Catholic Christian parishes, are religiously meaningful but not legally registered. Our tools can support Holy Union, commitment ceremony, or unregistered religious wedding planning; they cannot create a civil-marriage record.

(2) Our quiz currently lists Catholic, Civil, Muslim, Chinese-Filipino, Protestant, INC, Christian, and Interfaith as ceremony cohorts. There is no dedicated Holy Union / commitment cohort in the quiz today. You can pick Civil or whichever religious cohort fits your ceremony, and the AI personalization adapts to your stated preferences.

(3) Storia stays vendor-neutral and does not maintain an LGBTQ+-allied vendor directory. Vendor rejection of LGBTQ+ couples is documented in PH community spaces. Some community organizations, such as Open Table MCC at holyunion.opentablemcc.ph, maintain informal supplier lists for couples doing Holy Union ceremonies. We can coach you on what to ask before booking but cannot give you a verified-safe-vendor list.

What if a parent or in-law wants to take over planning?

It happens often. Filipino weddings are family events, and parents (and in-laws) sometimes have strong preferences about guest lists, vendors, dates, or budget. The honest answer about what we can and cannot do:
